And I’ll tell you more, we are also champions in combining food and physical activities, especially in Le Marche. Do you remember “Magnalonga”? That was even walking, eating and dancing with the Folcloristic Group of Cupra Montana.
The “genius” of Le Marche, as a regional promo stated some time ago, is not only visible in the great characters of the past. Among the world-known Leopardi, Raffaello and Rossini, we shouldn’t forget the present artists that are well worth a post in our blog.
One of these artists is also a fellow citizen of Isabelle, Elke and I: Cristiano Dellabella.
Ever since I remember, home has always meant green hills covered in vines for me. Even when I was a little girl attending the elementary school, we used to spend the first days of the new school year wandering around the centre of Cupra Montana to admire the preparation of the famous “Sagra dell’Uva” (of which we talked about in our blog) where grapes and wine were the absolute protagonists.
These difficult times have forced us to stay at home and, whenever is possible, to go out and re-discover our neighboorhoods. In particular, for me and Isabelle (Elke is now back in Aachen) this means going out and enjoy a nice walk in Poggio Cupro.
