This botanical garden Horto de i Semplici refers to the medieval city gardens where Semplici was cultivated; simple native wild plants and herbs with medicinal properties.
On a surface of 75 square meters, the more than 100 plants were subdivided into 8 groups according to their medicinal properties: airways, urogenital, digestive, nervous system, skin, heart and blood vessels, purifying, balsamic.
In the middle of the 4 intersecting paths is a pomegranate tree, the tree of life, because already in antiquity the symbol for fertility.
The bench under the rose arch invites every visitor to relax in this beautiful historic place.
